A Holiday Showing

I'm always glad to be available for showings during the holidays. Today I received a sign call through the office rotation. The couple wanted to see a listing within the hour. I quickly looked up the property, pulled the MLS report and property disclosure and drove to meet them.

They are a nice couple, looking for a smaller home for their mother. Because it is the holidays, it seems their call was made on Saturday and didn't get responded to until today -- with me! I remember one year selling three houses in December. The holidays can be a very productive time for a realtor, when he or she is available.

I'm not sure how things will end up with this buying family, but I sure am glad I answered my phone during the holidays.
